Here I am, waking up, early November 2010 in Windhoek and it was yet another sunny day. This is at least the month people expect the rain to have started falling.
Abraham is also patiently waiting for the rain to fall?
In Namibia when there aren’t any clouds in the sky, you should expect the day to be very hot. Today the day was very hot.
It has been hot only for a couple of days and on the 16th the rain has finally fallen!
16th November, me, preparing to go out on this beautiful rainy day?
In my car…
It was misty and wet outside…
10 am, it was still dark,
cloudy and raining.
Windhoek city, looking great…
The rain has now stopped, and the buildings are looking better washed?
1’oclock in the afternoon was still cloudy…
Independence Avenue’s rush hour still goes on?
The zoo park, looking prettier…
Business still goes on.
The new Hilton Hotel has just been completed.
Clouds are preparing for another storm – just what we need.
This Historical Church is the first building constructed in Windhoek. It was designed and positioned to be Windhoek?s focal point. It is seem from every part of Windhoek.
It usually attracts tourists.
It has been a great experience today!
