used.

Most people who decide to study photography do so because of the love of the field and not because of the money they can make. Some people combine interests in medicine, news, law, social studies, etc and specialize in that type of photography as they study.
Before deciding on what you would like to specialize in when you study photography you should think about the working conditions you would like. Do you want to work in an office setting, indoors, outdoors? Do you want to travel, etc?
You should also look into salary ranges for each photography specialty as these will vary, then look at educational requirements, some fields of photography study require other types of education like fine arts, or portrait work.
