Photo Journals
Digital Photography
Sharing photography journals is what I love to do and is in fact what i currently do most of these days. My other sites - 4x4OffRoads.com and Art-Iceland.com - are full of specific photo stories. What is not appropriate there I put up here. This is done mostly for my own pleasure - although I already know by the positive reactions I get that you will probably like it too. If so - please tell your friends about it also.
At this day and age of the evolving internet sharing photo journals is getting so easy. Many individuals have put up their album. What is sadly missing in most of these cases is the STORY behind the photos. Photos without proper explanation is like having a glass of water without the water.

London Tours Touring London at the time me and my son did in the week between the bombings in May 2005 was a bit strange with streets closed and police extra alert. Still - London offers a lot of places of interest and you can spend days exploring the city. |

Madame Tussaud's
Museum London Me and my son saw the London display of the wax museum. The figurines looked so real and so lifelike. We had great fun posing beside them - just like thousands before us - I guess. |

British Museum - London The easiest way to travel from Europe to Africa to Asia to the Americas and back again in just one afternoon is to go to the British Museum in London. Still standing on its original site in Bloomsbury, London, since 1759, the British Museum is one of the most important museums in the world, with collections of historic and cultural significance from all continents. |

Tower of London If you have an interest in a piece of English history that is at once deeply significant while still maintaining a sharp edge of horror, then the Tower of London should be your destination of choice! Situated right in the center of London on the north side of the River Thames, the Tower of London has been a fortress, a prison and a royal palace during it's near thousand year history. |

Cool Iceland More than a thousand years ago Vikings from Norway set foot in a new country. All they did was taking the ships and sail to the west without knowing where they would end up. They found an island with ice-caps on the mountains and some of them where volcanoes. |

Iceland Vestmannaeyjar literally means "west-man-islands". They are a cluster of islands off the south shore of Iceland with high cliffs rising from the sea. Heimaey - the largest island - has a small village and a harbor. Fishing has always been the major income generator for the islanders. |

Venice Italy
Photo Journal As you drive the road over to Venice Italy a whole new world opens up. No cars are allowed in the city and the fastest way to go between places has to be by boat on the canals that are obviously the blood veins of Venice. No wonder it is often called "City of Canals". |

Blue Lagoon Iceland Blue Lagoon Iceland is truly a one-of-a-kind. Situated in the middle of a large lava field and created by geothermal seawater. The hot water comes from holes as deep as 2000 meters/6000 feet and is used to fill the natural spa with warm and comfortable water but is also used for powering the nearby natural energy station. |
