I have made two major web sites that are primarily based on using digital photos to tell stories and build traffic from enthusiasts from all over the world. Taking pictures is a natural for most people. Same goes for talking and therefore also writing. Building a web site should be as simple as both. Unfortunately too few are willing to jump in and start their own.

Areal Photos of my House
Areal Photos of my House I have always been intrigued by scenes in movies where they are capable of taking photos from satellites to track down people. I do not want to track down people but what I want is to have an aerial photo of the community that I live in. It would also be awesome to have an aerial photo of my house!

Online photography is when you use digital cameras to shoot photos and work with the picture in a digital form for the whole lifecycle. In online photography the film is replaced with a small chip that turns light and colors into digital information and stores it on a memory card. Digital images can be displayed, printed, stored, manipulated, transmitted, and archived using digital and computer techniques, without chemical processing. Digital images can also be made by scanning conventional photographic images or films.

Light Painted Plant - Jack Feka a fellow SBIer sent me this experimental photo: "Recently I experimented with light painting in which I set up a camera in a dark room, previously set and focused on the subject, then opened the shutter for 20 to 30 seconds, and illuminating the subject with a hand held flashlight. This is one of my favorites from the experiment."
