CTPM -> Internet Marketing and the Seasons
I've been thinking about the CTPM process and also
the many similarities between Internet Marketing and farming the Earth. Here
are my thoughts on the matter:
C - WINTER in the north has frozen ground covered with snow and lots of darkness due to the shorter days. Still there is live hidden below - you just have to look closer to find it. In the same way you start with a new website and every theme seems to be covered so well that there can be no room for another. Or if you need an article you stare blankly at your monitor unable to think of anything. Then you have to remember to look closer and from another point of view - there will always be stuff to write about and readers interested in reading it. Use the cold clear days to write CONTENT.

SPRING comes with growth starting and farmers working on their fields
sowing seeds and fertilizing the ground. Gradually they begin to see small
sprouts coming up. Building a website is similar. You tend the soil using
your seeds of content and fertilizing with link building and other methods
of drawing attention to your creation. After a while you begin to see ever
increasing numbers of visitors to your site and realize that your room for
growth is practically unlimited and only dependent on your own ideas and
efforts. You are growing TRAFFIC.

SUMMER is a beautiful time in the north. With the sun hardly setting
down and the green color taking over the land but also the pleasant surprise
of blooming nature in all its glory. In your website this is when you get to
a point where you can step back and enjoy your accomplishments and realize
just how far you have grown as a person and as a part of the ideas in the
world - you really know you can have a lasting impression on other fellow
human beings. You have built a brand. You feel like a part of a bigger whole
without being controlled by anybody else. You know how to
PRESELL.

AUTUMN is a time with its own beauty. Harvesting the crops and
selling the excess livestock. It is a time when nature prepares for a long
winter. At the internet you can now harvest greatly from your growing site.
You have learned how to MONETIZE!
It is a circle. On the internet you can work on all seasons at a time.
Discovering new ideas, growing and enjoying and then harvesting according to
your needs and then more and more and over and over again.
