Cape Leveque Photos

The last sun rays are illuminating the pindan cliffs at Kooljaman's western beach. No photo editor was needed to make these rocks glow... Kooljaman at Cape Leveque is a remote holiday retreat, operated by the Bardi, Aboriginal people of a far, far north western corner of the Australian outback. It's a paradise for fishermen, beachlovers, adventurers and photographers, all at the same time.

Where else in the world would you rather wake up? This view from our beach
shelter accommodation at Cape Leveque made even me jump out of bed at the
break of dawn. To run for my camera, of course. Whoever told you that the
Australian outback is just a desert lied to you.
