A Note From The Editor

To begin with I am including links to new articles on the DPW site along with a short article to help you in your business and web building projects.

I have just released my first eBook and hope to be writing more in the future. Writing the book took a lot of time and effort for me and I am sure it will help those interested in using their 4x4 better. To get an idea about the contents of the book you can download the two first chapters as a sample. Included is also the full Table of Contents so you also get a great overview of the whole book. I am pricing the book extra low and will in addition give you a special discount if you order by MIDNIGHT PACIFIC TIME this coming FRIDAY.

A brand new digital-photo-web is now well underway. The Boat2Fish.net is a joint venture and will be a fast growing website with lots of great information about boats, boating and fishing along with fun trip articles.

Cool Iceland
More than a thousand years ago Vikings from Norway set foot in a new country. All they did was taking the ships and sail to the west without knowing where they would end up. They found an island with ice-caps on the mountains and some of them where volcanoes.

Boat To Fish Tour
This years first boat trip has been on schedule for some days. Perlen N-5-BR is a brand new Boat2Fish 33 - Seigur 1000 and is going to its future home in Norway. The plan is to put it on the Smyril Line ferry to Norway. Perlen is made in Reykjavík and the ferry sails from Seyðisfjörður - on the far east side of Iceland.

Mountain Hut - Múli
My mountain hut was built by my grandfather in 1945 right after the WWII war ended. He got the remains of the generals cabin and used it to build the hut.

You may ask - why do I choose this strange name for this e-zine?

Well - the DIGITAL world has been my main interest for the last twenty years or more. I got my first computing experience using a Commodore 64 computer. It was possible to program it using an early version of BASIC and had a scary 16K of memory if I recall correctly! The possibilities where limited in comparison to modern PCs but I had a strong feeling that this computing world would be one of the fastest growing. As you probably know now this is indeed the case and the internet and other modern products of the digital era leaves nobody untouched.

DREAMS are also interesting for me. Both in the way the brain is used to create new stuff and in general how it works and how it can be simulated using computers. Also I am interested in my own dreams - as in what it is I want to do with my life. That I hope is also your interest. Too many people are living their lives without a DREAM - without a clear GOAL to try and reach for.

The Digital-Photo-Web.com and all my other sites once only existed as a dream. Less than 4 years ago these sites did not exist. The creation of the sites has been my passion and gradually I started to make them profitable and turn them into a real business.

Not many people own sites that have as much enthusiastic readers as I do. This makes me happy - and also humble - since I want to add real value to the world. I feel that the value I add with my writing and web site building is of the lasting kind. I hope to serve you well.
